About Me
Hello and welcome to my blog, A View From The Clough Stand. My name is Katie and I am 15 years old. I am a very passionate Forest fan and have supported the Reds since birth! I have a season ticket in the Brian Clough stand lower and an away membership where I get to travel the country with my dad and brother following the Tricky Trees. I aspire to become a sports journalist hopefully working at Sky Sports where my views and ideas on games can be shared around the world. I have decided to start this blog to build my profile and put my opinions out there for other Forest fans to see. My biggest idol is Karen Carney because although I don't play football like she did, I would like to take on the role she does and be able to talk about my biggest passion for a living. A huge goal of mine is to get more girls to follow football and break stereotypes that football is only for boys because I have experienced sexism for my love of this sport but it's not fair; we only want to follow our team with our fellow supporters. Some of my favourite moments as a Forest fan have been our playoff final win at Wembley, the win against Arsenal which kept us up, the first away win I saw at Chelsea and receiving Danilo's shirt at Bournemouth away. All the blogs that I write are of my own work and I hope you enjoy and keep reading.

This is a picture from my first ever Forest game with my brother Luke. On this day in 2015, we played Middlesborough in a 2-1 win following goals from Gary Gardener and Dexter Blackstock.

This is picture of me and my family before our massive playoff final win against Huddersfield Town. This was by far my favourite day being Forest fan as my whole life I had just known us as a Championship side.

This is me and my brother up in Blackpool for our 3rd round FA Cup fixture Vs the Seasiders last season.

This is a picture of me at Chelsea away last season. This was the first away point I had seen us pick up.

This is a picture of me and my dad, Peter, before watching a game on TV.

This was my first away game. It was our first game back in the top flight for 23 years and it turned out to be a not so great day up in Newcastle but definitely one to remember.

Ah, what a day this was! A party at Palace after cementing another year in the Premier League by beating Arsenal 1-0 at the City Ground. Waka, Waka, ay, ay!

One of my favourite moments here! I made a banner for Danilo's shirt in Portuguese last season and after many attempts, he finally noticed it at Bournemouth away back in February and came over!
